Jaymie Leslie is an artist working at the intersection of intuition, structure, and symbolism. Her practice examines how softness exists within pressure (political, emotional, and spiritual) without needing to harden. Working across painting, poetry, installation, experiential and objects, she references lineage, labor, philosophy and time. Themes of protection, romance, childhood, power and curiousity surface as emotional undercurrents rather than narratives.

At its core, her work is about agency. Softness is treated with reverence—not as fragility or resistance, but as something held, honored, and intact.
